Sustainable mobility is not just an environmental goal; it is a strategic necessity for the competitiveness of our islands.
Promedia Communication
In an archipelago where connectivity is the heartbeat of our economy and society, the future is not something to wait for: it is something to design. At Promedia Communication , we were proud to organize the conference “Challenges of Sustainable Mobility in the Canary Islands,”an event that transformed the iconic Hotel Santa Catalina into the epicenter of the debate on the transport of tomorrow.
Alongside strategic partners such as CIDIHUB, Proexca and the Government of the Canary Islands, and with the invaluable collaboration of the Nos Movemos Foundation and the Líneas Romero Foundation, we brought together the industry's key players to discuss digitalization, innovation, and internationalization.
A Meeting with an Eye on the Future
This event was not just a series of presentations; it was a space for active reflection. The challenges facing the islands are unique—geography, territorial fragmentation, and tourism pressure—and the solutions must be equally exceptional.
During the conference, the fundamental pillars for transforming the current model were analyzed:
- Digitalization: How Big Data and AI are optimizing transport routes.
- Internationalization: The potential for Canarian companies to export mobility solutions to the rest of the world.
- Innovación Sostenible: The transition toward clean energy and zero-emission fleets.
Dynamism and Participation: The Key to Success
At Promedia, we believe communication should be a two-way street. Therefore, to break the barrier between the stage and the audience, we utilized interactive tools like Mentimeter.
Through these dynamic presentations, we were able to survey attendees in real-time, gaining first-hand insight into their concerns and priorities regarding transport on the islands. The result was a fluid dialogue, live data, and a much more enriching experience for all participants.
Alliances Driving Change
Organizing this conference reinforces Promedia Comunicación's commitment to creating forums that generate real value. Collaboration between public institutions and the private sector is the only path to ensuring the Canary Islands remain a benchmark in smart mobility.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us and actively participated in this meeting. We continue working to ensure that communication remains the engine driving the ideas that transform our land.
